I received my Bachelor of Science, in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University in 2005. I began my career in 2006 as a 5th grade math and science teacher. I have 10 years total teaching experience, as I took off a few years to raise my kids. I was blessed to be hired in Tomball in 2017 as a Kindergarten teacher, but my heart is with older students! I believe every student I get the privilege to teach is different and unique, and I try to teach with that in mind in order to reach every student’s level of understanding.
My husband I are both from Mississippi, but I grew up in Middle Tennessee. We got married in 2006 and moved to Tomball. We have loved our time in the Tomball community and have no plans of leaving any time soon! My daughter, Julie, will be a 5th grader at Oakcrest; and my son, Joshua, will be a 2nd grader at Wildwood this year. We enjoy our time as a family - beach trips, Astros games, swimming, fishing, visiting Colorado, and we love cheering on our Mississippi State Bulldogs any chance we get.
Please check my website often, as I will update pertinent information weekly, if not daily. I am so excited for the 2020-21 school year - it's going to be a great one!
