WELCOME 2020-2021 KINDERGARTNERS!

I'm so happy to be your kindergarten teacher! I began teaching in 2008 so this is my sixth year in Tomball as a Wildcat and before that I was in CFISD for 10 years.  I absolutely love teaching and making it a fun environment to learn and succeed.  We are going to laugh, sing, dance and learn in fun ways!

I graduated from the University of Texas, and my daughter, Hailey, graduated with a Chemistry degree from Trinity University in San Antonio.  She is continuing her education, and getting her doctorate at University of  North Carolina Chapel Hill.  She began her program in August 2019.  You will hear me talk about her adventures a lot!  Of course, you will hear and see pictures of Milo~my 2 year old dog!   He was a rescue at about 8 weeks old ~ I love him so much!

One interesting fact your teacher is also a student, and I am getting my Masters in Education in Reading at UT Tyler!

I know we are going to have an awesome year!

NEWS:

*Please provide a water bottle for you child every day, and put their name on it.
*Please provide a quick, dry snack with your child every day, such as: goldfish, pretzels, crackers, or other easy-to-eat snack items.  Please do not send yogurt, go-gurt, jello, applesauce cups or fruit cups

*Students will need headphones that go over the ears as the computer lab headphones are a little too large for our kindergartners.  You can purchase at Walmart or Target for about $10, and they will be returned in May to you. Please try and bring to school by September 6th, and please put their name on them with a sharpie.

**Please bring a gallon Ziploc bag (labeled with your child's name) with undergarments/shorts or pants ~ in case of accidents.  I have a cabinet in our class restroom to store the bags.    Please keep an extra pair of shoes/socks in their backpack.
Box Tops:  I will gladly accept those from you.  Please send in a Ziploc baggie with your student.
