I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work as a team to educate your child at Wildwood Elementary School this year! Here are some fun facts about me: I graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2001. In addition, I'm a McKendree University alumni, where I earned my master’s degree in Educational Administration in 2009. I am certified to teach kindergarten through sixth grade students, Special Education, English as a Second Language Learners, and Gifted & Talented Students in the state of Texas. My classroom experiences have been teaching second grade, third grade, fourth grade, and teaching kindergarten through sixth grade students with Special Education & behavioral needs as a Reading Title I Teaching Assistant.
This will be my 18th year of teaching, 13th year of teaching 3rd Grade, and my 6th year at Wildwood Elementary School. My husband teaches at Willow Wood Junior High and coaches Wildcat Football. My son, Aiden, is a TMHS Wildcat player and my daughter, Makenzie, is a Wildcat Swimmer. We have two dogs named Abby and Watson. In my free time, I love restoring old furniture and painting.
