I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work as a team to educate your child at Wildwood Elementary School this year! Here are some fun facts about me: I graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2001. In addition, I'm a McKendree University alumni, where I earned my master’s degree in Educational Administration in 2009. I am certified to teach kindergarten through sixth grade students, English as a Second Language Learners, and Gifted & Talented Students in the state of Texas. My classroom experiences have been teaching second grade, third grade, fourth grade, and teaching kindergarten through sixth grade students with Special Education & behavioral needs as a Reading Title I Teaching Assistant.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching my husband coach football at Willow Wood Junior High School, where he also teaches eighth grade science. This year will be extra special because my son, Aiden, joins the high school Wildcat Football team! Going on trips to the beach with my family, reading, painting, and making creative projects with my daughter, Makenzie, makes my life happy!
