Wildwood Elementary Library

Welcome to the Wildwood Elementary Library. This year your child will visit the library each week for lessons and library book checkout. Rest assured that we are using social distancing as well as hand sanitizer and cleaning surfaces between each class. Students will only be in the library with their homeroom class and not mingled with other classes. See the link on the right to view our library schedule. You can also use this link to browse our library catalog.

While in library we will foster a love of literacy and encourage students to learn about topics of interest. We will have lessons specifically targeting digital citizenship, library skills, and grade level state standards. This year we plan on having book fairs and family engagement nights to encourage reading at home as well as in school. We will also be utilizing Maker Spaces in the library, STEM based activities to encourage critical and creative thinking through science, technology, engineering and math.

My name is Alison Love and I am so excited to work with our Early Childhood through Fourth Grade students this year. This is my 10th year as an elementary librarian and my 23rd year in education. I am a Tomball resident, but was lucky enough to grow up all over the country, as a military kid. I graduated from Purdue University in Indiana and received my master's degreed from Sam Houston State University here in Texas.
