All About Me

Thank you so much for visiting our class website and for working with me to ensure that your child has a successful year in first grade.  I am very excited to be your child’s teacher!  First grade is an amazing year of academic growth for students.  I look forward to getting to know you and your child as we become partners in education.

I graduated from Minnesota State University. I am certified to teach grades PK through 6, and have my ESL (English as a Second Language) certification. I also have my Masters in Reading. I will be starting my 10th year of teaching and have experience in 1st and 2nd grade. I have taught 1 year in Minnesota, 5 years in Aldine, and 3 years in Magnolia. I'm so excited to become part of the Wildwood Community!

I have a daughter, Sofie, who is 6 years old and is in first grade. I also have two cats, Ellie and Ginger. We live in the Tomball community and I love how everyone makes you feel like family! I know the 2018-2019 school year has amazing things in store for us! Thank you in advance for allowing me to be such a huge part of your child's life. I can't wait to meet them!

Fundraiser

Our annual fundraiser started on Wednesday! Your child was sent home with a packet of information regarding the sale.

We are raising money for flexible seating and maker space in the library, and we need the support and participation of every family to meet that goal!

In addition to the paper order forms, we have an Online Store at the following website:

Your friends and family members can check out our school’s store online to help support us. You can also post the link on Social Media.

Our goal is to reach at least $1,000 in Online Sales prior to the start of the fundraiser. All online orders help our sale and your child will personally get credit towards earning prizes!

In addition to helping our school get (a new playground, technology in the classrooms, field trips, new cafeteria tables, etc) your child also has the opportunity to earn college Tuition Rewards by participating in the fundraiser.

Thank you for all your help!
