She will begin her role as the campus leader at Wildwood Elementary following the conclusion of this school year.
As a District, Tomball ISD was looking for a leader that can continue to move WES forward. She joins Tomball ISD from Magnolia ISD where she has been serving as the Principal for Magnolia Elementary since 2018. Prior to that, she was the Principal at Cedric C. Smith Elementary School from 2010 to 2018 and an Assistant Principal at Magnolia Elementary from 2005 to 2009.
She brings to Wildwood Elementary 21 years of invaluable experience in education, 15 years of which have been in a campus leadership role. Since 2018, she has also been supporting principals in their goals to improve their school as a leadership consultant.
Along with her influence as a campus leader, she served as a 2013 and 2017 fellow of Raise Your Hand Texas Harvard Educational Leadership program. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Sam Houston State University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership also from SHSU.
