Guidance and Counseling

Kandy Huggins is the Counselor at Wildwood Elementary School.  Mrs. Huggins received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education from University of Texas Tyler in 1991 and her Master's Degree in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University in 2006.  Kandy began her teaching career in Kerens ISD as an elementary special education teacher and continued there for 10 years before moving to Mexia ISD as a special education resource teacher.  After receiving her Counseling degree, Kandy continued in Mexia ISD and served as the district"s Special Education Counselor until moving to Tomball in 2011.  Her husband is the head baseball coach at Tomball Memorial High School and teaches science.  Kandy believes that all students can learn and achieve their goals academically, socially and emotionally through a fun and positive educational environment and is here to help provide that in any way possible.
